The HAPPIEST PLACE ON EARTH!

For our Christmas vacation we went to California [Ross served his mission in Aneheim so that's how I got him back!! :) ] We had been trying to plan a vaca with Nate & Emily [our cousins] and Disneyland was just the way to go. We booked it a few months before, so we had to wait all semester to go!! It was motivation to get through school! Me and Emily would text each other practically every day for the countdown!

The day finally came to leave. I got a sub for PE, packed up our whole house, and Ross & I headed to St. George. That was our first stop, so we could go to my BFF Angelie's wedding! We got to go to my sister's house and visit her family [whom i miss very dearly] and then Ang's wedding was the next day. She looked BEAUTIFUL and it was the first sealing I had gone to besides our own. It was really neat.

The next day was Sunday and we waited for Nate & Emily to meet us in Cedar City. It felt like it took them F.O.R.E.V.E.R. but i was just super excited to get to Cali! It really didn't take them that long to get there and then we were ON OUR WAY!!! I had made us all disney travel bags, and my mom made us travel games with disney giftcards on them! It made it fun! We played guess the song for a long time with the ipod. I slept a lot. haha And we got there at a pretty decent time. And yes, it was HEAVENLY! We were not very far from Disneyland. We could see it from our parking lot! That night we just kinda relaxed, getting ready for our days ahead!!

We woke up and got all ready to head to Disneyland. We were all like little kids. so. excited. It was all decorated for Christmas. BREATH TAKING! I loved it. so magical.  We got there and headed straight to Space Mountain. We didn't have to wait in line long at all and we had so much fun! After that we were just heading from ride to ride! oh. so glorious!! We rode SPLASH MOUNTAIN so many times because we were those "crazy people" in jackets, while everybody else was in heavy winter coats! Some points we just went again and again one right after another! :) Our other favorites were Tower of Terror [Emily had never been and she cracked. me. up.] California Screamin, Pirates [of course] and Indiana Jones [a couple of times. the boys LOVED it!] we got pulled out of the line to come up front to ride the Matterhorn [that was cool] and we thought that the Star Wars one was way way cool! We also went on Thunder Mountain a few times. It's funner than it looks!

On our third day we got the privledge to go to the Newport Beach Temple. so so pretty! Loved the color of the outside, and the inside was more gorgeous! Then we took Ross on his first BEACH adventure!! We got to meet people from Ross' mission and they were so nice! I loved meeting them! We went to dinner out on the pier, and ate at the yummiest, cutest little diner. Ruby's. If i could live there, I would. they have HUGE straws for your milkshake. like big enough so my brownie chunks just came right up instead of clogging the straw. so bueno! We walked around for more of the night, and then headed back to out hotel.

Then we went back to Disneyland for one. more. day. Oh man I did not want to leave!!! But we had so much fun! Can't wait to go back! THANKS BABE!!!!!

Honeymoon and Beyond!

I'll let the pictures explain how much fun we had on our honeymoon! We started out by going to Logan, to the Anniversay Inn, the Lost in Space room! I was SO thankful Ross suprised me and we did not have to drive all the way to Almo after the reception! The next day we headed to Almo and it was probably the best honeymoon ever. No schedule. No plans. Tiny town. Everyone knowing we were on our honeymoon and taking care of us. Going everywhere on a 4-wheeler. Durfee Hotsprings. Eating at the Outpost every. meal. YUM. Getting 16 oz. steaks from the sweet old lady that was the cook there when she found out we were newlyweds. In her accent she said, "You need big steak. Need to eat BIG." [don't tell but yes i did finish the WHOLE thing because it was THAT good!] We went to the City of Rocks. Independence Lake, Elba, on long 4-wheel rides, camping, watched movies, and just got to relax. I highly recommend a nice relaxing honeymoon, rather than a "cool" hawaiian honeymoon or something. We'll enjoy something like that another day! :) [Disneyland is coming in December! :) ]

When we got to the lake their was snow. and he wanted to go swimming. the crazy! But he swam across and made a snow angel. i was just hoping he didn't drown on the way their or back cause he was so cold.

[out of place] BUT this is our first home! we are debt free, and DON'T PAY RENT! yay. Its nice and spacious for just us 2. We only really needed a place to eat and sleep and it fills those needs just fine!

And last, but not least, this is just my favorite picture ever. These are three of my favorite boys. This was their last "boys night" before Ross got married. Luke thought i was the coolest. person. ever. when i told him Ross could still have boys nights after we were married. They go to McDonalds, get some Hot n' Spicy's, and then head to the mountain to have a camp out. So fun!

As i sit in school, while i'm at work, at the grocery store, in the car, or even just at our house by myself....i miss this boy.....

Isn't he just so cute? He's just so good to me, and i love him. So these long days of work and school that i don't get home til 11 PM, i can't wait to see him!

Really?

Well i guess we did make it FIVE whole weeks without going to the ER, so i guess i should be grateful! I got home from work Friday, got in my lounge clothes, excited to do ANYTHING besides homework. Clean, actually. And just as im changing, i see Jonie bringing my hubby home. I thought it was odd, but just wondered if his car was somewhere else. He walks inside, i look at his face, and i figure we're heading to the doctor. Just below his right eye he had a cut. We went to the ER cause the doctors office's were closed. He could have either got a couple stitches or just glue. He opted for glue. If there was any way, we would just buy a lifetime supply of that glue for this kid. Honestly. Just since we've been dating he's got his arm glued together, and a massive cut to the mouth, that couldn't have been stitched, so it was just nasty. Thankfully he hasn't done anything super serious. And he better keep it that way. I just may make him wear a mask to work. I've gotta protect that beautiful face!! Hopefully our kids take after me, and not their father, in the injury department. We can only pray.
